Hey, just be glad they are sparing us/censoring away, all the sexual violence, which surely permeated this culture in reality. It would make everything more heart-breaking, and probably impossible to feel any sympathy for any of our happy bunch of misfits.

It is not unrealistic, some people have a way harder time adapting to a new language than other. I'm living in Denmark, and I know people who moved from Wales to here, and are completely fluent, after a few years, and people who have been living here far longer, and still only can say "tak" og "skål". I don't think

He is a Danish stand-up comedian, called Frank Hvam, I've never seen him do anything "serious" before.

Is it clear that it was actually the Bannerless who war-crimed them? - I think it's probably a red herring and their "stay safe" was in earnest.

Not reading through the comments, so I apologize if it have already been mentioned, I'm just putting this down here while I remember it. Rollo random axing of the englishman is probably a reference to the Saga of the Frost Brothers, where a nobleman cuts down a random passer-by because he "is standing well for

I'm so disappointed that Hobb just went full villain.. yes we get it, scientific types are bad, we should probably just cut everything above high school for the future.

Just to nuance the robot-sex thing, I can see why banging your family's favourite robot might be pretty transgressive even if you you recognize it purely as an object. It'd be like having sex with a beloved teddy-bear, in this case one the rest of the family is invested in. I mean, I don't think it's much less worse

I surprised myself being taken slightly aback by the Clockwork Yellow sketch. The cognitive dissonance of goofy Homer and company dressed up as murdering rapists was unfun to me. Not that Clockwork Orange based humor can't be entertaining, but the Simpsons way skinned everything but the costume and language from it,

You know, STD's, even weird neck-pegina contracted ones can be a hard subject to approach. Better know and don't tell.

For some reason, I just love every scene where Setrakian is cooking. Something about this ancient vampire killer actually needing to eat and how spartan what he eats is, makes him a lot more human.

Stopped watching it. It just strokes me against the hairs. Not in a "I feel bad watching it way", but in the sense that the makers of the show is trying to feed me something deeply contrary to my beliefs under the opaqueness of the show. Quite what one of the earlier reviews said about the show's target-audience being

It's not just you. At least where I'm from, all those danger signs would be a clear reason to get professional help. Considering that they aren't too poor to afford it, or doesn't seem to stupid to know he needs it, it just seems to be omitted for the plot to be there at all.

I think that the entire series is a sound argument for why 20 years is far enough.

I really hope so, that would almost be human-like behavior. Instead of - yeah killing off some 25% of the population after two weeks crisis, because of a magical science teachers unsupported prognosis, instead of say - acting human and not killing anyone on a whim. I think it is Barbie who sorta defends the plan by
