Nick Offerman better win an Emmy for this darn episode.

FauxNews knows their audience.  The most easily-manipulated yokels in existence.  Anything to make them feel like they’re on the “right” side.

If you hire Seth Rogen to voice a character, you get...Seth Rogen. You gotta know that going in.

Sorry couldn’t resist...

He has peperoni nipples and a bald spot.

Copy and pasting the same non-sense over and over doesn’t make it right or true. It just makes you annoying.

Cheaper than the average price of a new ICE car.

I averaged .26 kWh/mi today in a Model 3. That’s 26kWh for 100 miles. I buy my kWh for $.11 at home, so that’s $2.86 for 100 miles. Gas is $3.25/gallon here soooo..

Is this Facebook where grandpa is spouting whatever BS some random Fox News talking head told him to think? JFC I expect a bit more from a site dealing with cars.

Seriously?

This is an anti EV thing that AEG’s been pushing for years, even Jalopnik’s sister site has an article debunking this https://cleantechnica.com/2021/10/26/about-that-scary-evs-cost-more-to-fuel-study-not/.

Uh, what? This smells like bullshit to me.

My Chevy Bolt uses about 29Kwh to drive 100 miles.
I pay .25 per Kw to charge at home. That’s $7.25 for 100 miles.

My gas car gets about 22 mpg combined, for 100 miles that’s 4.5 gallons @ $4/gal = $18 in regular gas for 100 miles.

Yeah that’s pretty clearly the answer. I don’t think Joel’s actually on Atkins, he’s just saying that to justify not eating the neighbor’s offering.

You ruined what was otherwise a very well written article when you jumped on the “All men are horrible and masculinity must be killed (and all woman are perfect saints)” train by suggesting that the final scene of TESS dying was done to “promote violence against woman”. If the same thing happened to a man in a tv

Although the in-universe is echolocation, it’s also acted as the video-game plays notification that there was one in the immediate area. Without that audio cue, it would be impossible to know one was in the usually dark area. Also had the added benefit making the player tense and uneasy, knowing they would have to be

Well, in episode one, Joel tells his neighbor he’s on the Atkins diet.”

I honestly thought this was just an excuse/lie to not eat his neighbour’s cooking. He didn’t seem super convincing.

I suppose we see what we want to see. I still feel like she was a badass and that what they have been doing is trying to up the level of fear felt for the infected over certain scenes in the show (both Joel and Tess seem MUCH more apprehensive about running into infected than in the game). The way she handled herself

Yes... The *horrific* imagery in this *horror* show was, in fact, quite *horrific*.

Where in the PlayStation games she was a confident, dynamic character, HBO makes Tess an example
