Maybe it’s just that every other generation has a reputation of being driven by midlife crisis over-tanned Floridian insurance agents. While it’s certainly an impressive car, and makes logical sense as a “better”…

Some ebikes do brake regen, but they simply don’t have enough mass for it to make much of a difference. Pedaling to regen doesn’t really make much sense. You might as well turn the motor down/off if you want to preserve battery power. If you’ve run out of juice, I doubt many people would want the pedaling to be HARDER…
