It cracks me up when people refer to new automatics as slushboxes when the ZF 8-speed in the Stinger is basically a magic box of wonder. I’ll always have a manual in my track car, but I have that transmission in my daily and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. But okay grandpa, go back to yelling at clouds…

Yes, tired of Colorado being a cross section of these people and van-lifers constantly accidentally setting forests on fire or completely destroying natural sites (whether it’s constantly rolling off of mountain trails or overwhelming hiking trails with their dogs shitting everywhere)

I actually considered both C1-C2 and C3-C4 as answers too. Ultimately I thought the carryover engines at the beginning of those generations meant the changes were less revolutionary than the LS1 introduction on day 1.

If we’re going for “boring” cars, I’d nominate the Prius Gen 1 to Gen 2. Went from a horrible econobox to one of the most popular compact cars on the market. Brought hybrids to the masses.

I mean. Okay? Seems pretty pointless when it’s not even in a Lexus SC430 and has a complete custom exhaust and modified for track use. That really doesn’t mean there’s “untapped potential” in the SC430.
