@smackela: I had a 79 Alfa Sprint Veloce which is basically an alfetta or GTV. Love it, but it never loved me.

I find myself having to post 2 examples. As a youngster I owned the Impulse, but as an adult, I bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. It was a standard cab model and all I really wanted was a general use pick up.

@snap_understeer_ftw: oh, but they are so cool looking. I want one, but don't have the guts to own one.

Allow me to submit a 1984 Isuzu Impulse. I bought the car new and it was fantastic. I got t boned by a guy that blew a stop sign. After 2 months in the shop, the damn car ate 2 rear diffs (yes they were RWD) and it's tranny. It then had it's windshield wiper linkage (it had only 1 giant wiper) crack.

My time with my beloved (but hated by all of you) SC 430 is about over. I have to consider going back to a hardtop (non convertible) to get this car. I've owned an SRX V8 and loved it. I'm just not sure I can do without a convertible again. Hmmmm...

I've seen this a few times in my life. I've always wondered: Do they try to remove the cars that look unhurt except for the obvious fall without damaging them, or are all of cars a complete total?

I'm guilty of this, so perhaps I'm an asshat driving a lexus. When does driving an electric car or a hybrid entitle you to a different parking spot? No. I refuse to obey that. I park in those ever chance I get. Just try to tow me.

Is it just me or does that look a lot like a Chevy Citation?

I've never done this before, but hear it works. It's simple, quick, and a relief: Pee on the radiator of a car. From what I understand, when it heats up, it stinks to high heavens.

I have to say seeing a Civic with the giant "Powered by Honda" sticker on the windshield (or any make of car that has that) is dated. "Oh really? Your Civic is powered by Honda? Fuck, I thought it was powered by Saturn... My bad"

I have admitedly strange tastes in cars. I drive an 06 SC430. I know, you guys all hate that car, but it runs every time I start it, the top stores away nicely and it's reasonably quick. I like the SSR. I really like it with the Vette engine and tranny. I'd buy one.

@ejd1984: If I remember correctly, wasn't there a few Fiero's made with the Quad 4? Maybe they were just for testing, but that engine seemed a perfect fit for the car.

Wonderful! I can't wait be on my motorcycle and almost forced off the road by one of these loaded with crotch fruit and the mom driving chatting on her cell phone! I ride a bike a lot and without a doubt, the most dangerous car to approach or pass is a minivan.

I know by today's standards, it's a slug, but my dad had a 79 Alfa Sprint Veloce. Back in the early 80s it was quick enough to make a statement. My favorite thing about that car was it's ability to turn heads with it's Anza (sp?) exhaust. It growled and sounded fantastic. Not like the fart cans on new 4 bangers.

I thought for sure she'd look something like Daisy Duke. Dammit. Massive Fail.

Somebody please post a picture of TJ Hooker (the Shat) on the hood of a car.

I own an 06 Lexus SC430. The dumbest thing it has is the little motorized doors that cover the nav screen and the stereo. For the life if me, why???

1998 Mustang rental car. I'm a fan of the Mustang, but this thing was beat to shit (pulled left) and even though it could spin it's tires, the engine sounded like it was grinding coffee.

@Brydagr8: I consistently park my non hybrid car in those spots. I'm fairly sure it's not possible to have me towed because of it.

Actually, this is a common case of a hybrid trying to mate with a cool car in order to improve it's self esteem. Poor Z. I hope she was in heat.
