@Gonzie: I agree that too much advertising detracts from the experience. That's when you simply choose another site to get your info, games or whatever fix.

@Luigi193: Clicking an ad ("add" is an incorrect spelling) is not an indication of intelligence. It only indicates curiosity or an interest in the subject matter of the ad.

No wonder Consumerist went broke and is (still?) up for sale. The brilliant minds that own it are also pushing solutions that block the ads that pay its bills!

@Bob Brown: We could code a hack that just makes Chrome use the same ID for everybody.

Why are people using this crap? I understand the speed issue and the advantages of sandboxing individual pages, but are those things worth the trade off in privacy?

Actually, it would be MUCH MUCH better i you gave the end users the ability to customize the look to the way that each of them wanted it.

This new layout really sucks fumes. You miss a lot of good stuff that it was much easier to scroll through with the old design.

If ANYONE had the mouse-balls to make a 100% WC3-compliant browser, I'd jump all over it.

OK....I really don't get why a technical site's comments can't handle a simple URL typed into the comment box.....but here is another try.....
