"...spam-fighting, privacy-protecting ..."

@Rolfmaomachizlin: I know people that have ben banned multiple times - each time coming back with a new identity.

@Rick Dobbs: The problem I have with Mozy is the days or weeks (according to their own documentation) that it could take to download your data again.

What about using PogoPlug, and an external drive at an off-site location like your work office (or cubicle) or a friend's house?

@PinkSabbath: I wouldn't have been surprised a bit.

@Rolfmaomachizlin: I understand what you are saying, but I think there is a better way of moderating the sites.

This being true, why does Gawker ban people that show their humanness by posting things that offend other people?

@all: All of you are missing the point.

@MayorBloomberg: Please note that I said "serious programming platform".

@JobyOne: Well, you have to make money to be able to waste time in the fantasy world of the iPad....

YEEESSSSS!!!!

If one of these things only made actual money-making, productive work possible we'd be set.

@Buddha916: Alzheimers patients and people suffering from strokes, dementia and/or brain injury could definitely benefit from something like this.

@dickfreckle: So you're against providing work for the Chinese?

@Step666: Wow. That's the second time in the same thread....

@fusioncell: The most luck I have had explaining it to people is getting them to watch some old America's Funniest Videos clips where little kids are learning to ride a bike.

@limimi: I get the weak attempt at humor.

@Step666: Actually...."Target fixation is a process by which the brain is focused so intently on an observed object that awareness of other obstacles or hazards can diminish. Also, in an avoidance scenario, the observer can become so fixated on the target that they will forget to take the necessary action to avoid it,

Wouldn't that just make you a target?
