Hopefully they never do this interview with George Lucas.

Well. That didn't ruin my childhood.

Bethesda makes computer games. I've always had good luck with them on PC.

I still play Civ 4 and I am unashamed.

Maybe it is just because as a Tara, she fails by comparison to the Buffy and True Blood versions.

Will MANY Bothans die?

Why don't people just wait and get them at the theater the second week when lines are shorter?

Was anybody else all:"Who the hell is she?" at the beginning of the episode?

She looks like the type of woman Donald would buy.

I would say the first 60 Fantastic Fours…though they weren't all so easy to classify as villains. First 5 issues had Mole Man, The Skrulls, Sub Mariner and Dr. Doom*.

One that freaked me out as a child was Black Zero, this evil super spy who destroyed Krypton and looked like a devil. Pure, gleeful evil. I wish they'd bring him back.

For a lot of his history he was like X files…it was monster-of-the-week intertwined with a lot of stories about his overarching mythology (A giant bug story followed by The Man who Destroyed Krypton! etc)

The world needs more Fool Killers.

This is all new stuff. I am talking core properties…and I tend to think in terms of silver-bronze age.

Well, yeah, if you add in the Vertigo suff…but kind of the whole point of Vertigo was that it was separate and different from DC in tone and scope.

I mean Marvel dealt with big concepts and ambiguity, complexity in general and this giant, cosmic scope in ways that DC just could not fit within their old-fashioned house style.

Rlly? Like the space gods, Eternity, the In-Betweener, Nightmare, Loki, Dark Phoenix, Magneto, Sub Mariner, Galactus, the Skrulls, The Kree, High Evolutionary, Dr. Doom, Thanos and Paste-Pot Pete???

I haz. I am a total silver age nerd.

It is sort of the reverse….which is why I think directors these days cannot get it right. They look at them and go:"So…they are good. They exemplify family, the importance of intelligence and imagination, moral fiber and the aspiration to be better than you are. I DON'T GET IT."

What's up with that chicken?
