They think anybody is going to remember that movie in October?

I'm confused…is this audio or video?

…all of whom will be played by Tilda Swinton, so as not to piss off the Asians.

Get MONGREL. It's the best classic rock album that nobody has ever heard. Up there with the best of Credence.

Summer of '86 I had five cassettes on repeat: Scarecrow, Sigue Sigue Spuntik's FLAUNT IT, Lords of the New church's KILLER LORDS, Billy Idol's WHIPLASH SMILE and PIL's CASSETTE.

I prefer the comp "Scott Walker sings Jaques Brel", but I'm a sucker for his Brel covers…

What about the Kiss? That thing is Double Platinum!

The Alice Cooper one sort of suffers from that, too, where they have a "contemporary" song on side 2 that is only there because the label wanted to remind people of the lackluster recent album (Muscle of Love and Night in the Ruts, respectively).

I was at a bar where a no doubt cover band was playing last Saturday, and I knew every one of the 8-9 songs they butchered…

In their defense, their albums really are well constructed, with each song being richer in context than on its own…(Mind you, I mostly checked out after For Those about to Rock)

Petty has always had more of a cool edge to him than Mellencamp…and this is coming from a guy who'd put Scarecrow in his top 20 albums…I also play in a Tom Petty cover band and fetishize Bob Seger…so…um, yeah. The heartland.

The Queen one's not bad.

I may prefer Bon Scott's :"I'm gonna be a rock 'n' roll star/oh yes I are."

Died.

Who have they cast for the hot seventies chick that was originally sitting with Han in Mos Eisley?

Hey man, it's not what they actually sounded like that matters, but what the reviewer feels they sounded like.

I certainly do.

…or…DARK FATHER?

Riggght. That's why he named him Darth Vader…you know, like "Vater"…the German word for FATHER.
