They absolutely were. Their first album came out on an indie label called Enigma. Their label mates were stuff like the Cramps, Mojo Nixon and Tex and the Horseheads.

Meh. GNR ALWAYS wanted you to know how cool and "street" they were. They had about 6 months in shit, then labels started throwing huge money at them. That first album was the most corporate thing to come out of L.A. at the time. (From that scene.)

I remember when I was in high school and all the African-American girls would talk about how they wanted to be comics writers when they grew up.

I don't know when why this is even being discussed. Comics became post-racial when they invented Black Bolt and finally had a guy with a color in his name that had nothing to do with his race.

HE CAN ONLY BE WRITTEN BY AN EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL.

So…A basic Boy-meets-Gaul story?

More like Tight Ass Pullo…AMIRITE?????????

Why do the words "Lexington Steele" spring to mind?

TOO SOON.

The "let's get this shit over with" tour.

I'm old, and I hate seeing old people at shows.

I saw them a bunch of times in clubs.

Audiogalaxy, dude.

I had a Van Halen song that was labelled as AC/DC.

And a corporate technomom.
