I personally find Hillary's voice to be very attractive and engaging. Probably because behind the voice is a brain to match wits with anyone, and she can definitely school a lot of people on many different levels. And she's an attractive woman.

You know, it’s possible for both their voices to be trash. And honestly, who cares. If a mute can pass policy and good laws while upholding the Constitution, that’s all that matters.

Criticizing her for her literal voice is something very, very different from criticizing her skills as an orator.

“Robotic” and “insincere” are both perfectly fine criticisms. So, in fact, are Sullivan’s “pedestrian” and “uninspiring”. People are free to disagree with you, but those are terms that are routinely applied to male speakers as well as female.

And at least when she talks her mouth doesn’t look like it’s literally about to squeeze out a turd.

You can address it, but address it in a way that isn’t sexist. The criticisms launched by Hume and Sullivan both fell into the trap of criticizing her for things that, if they were coming from someone with the bass provided by having an adam’s apple and more testosterone, would have been considered perfectly fine.

I definitely think Sullivan fell into the trap of double standards when it comes to men and women speaking.
