My only silver lining to all of this bullshit is that my white friends and coworkers can stop denying that racism is a huge problem in the USA now that these freaks have been emboldened enough to make it SERIOUSLY plain. Till now, it was impossible to have a conversation that didn’t end in ‘let’s agree to disagree’.

It happened to me too in my late 20s. It taught me that other people are never as happy as they seem and I shouldn't compare my life to theirs because there is no point in doing that.

Seriously, I just found out my horrible abusive ex got married a few weeks ago. He is one of the few people I will say never deserves to have happiness, let alone a free kitchenaid.
