Awww, congratulations Darth!!!
Awww, congratulations Darth!!!
I, for one, know exactly what Kat Dennings is talking about.
@ Hugh Laurie: That’s fair.
Pat Sajak: I have known this for years!
I never make things up on my Twitter feed to seem more interesting either, Jemima
That sounds like me! I’ve gone from dating assholes I can’t get close to to just blindly going after men who are perfectly nice (but boring and totally wrong for me) and that I’m adequately attracted to. Baby steps in the right direction.
This. I’m just coming to terms with the fact that I STILL have issues with men even after thinking that cutting the absent, neglectful, emotionally abusive ass-hole father out of my life 2 years ago would magically fix everything. I’m doing way way way better than I was but I still need some help and I’m still going…
The difference between a functional, reasonably happy, healthy upbringing and a dysfunctional one is like growing up on a different planet.
Heh, this is exactly perfect. *SPOILERS*
this was too long, and no one said her mother was right- her mother had no context for that sort of action, no context to realize it was a simple release and likely had nothing to do with her. women are especially programmed to think of love and sex as being mutually exclusive, thus making pornography and masturbation…
What you said. I am in the midst of (finally) dealing with my fucked-up childhood and making the connections between my past and the way I behave now. The issues are totally different, but I totally get the author’s point- that having no roadmap for what a normal, healthy relationship looks like makes it REALLY hard…
I have never read so many comments from so many people that really don’t understand what the writer was getting at.
I thought this was a great piece, and wonderfully written. Bravo, Tracy.
I related to more of this than I feel comfortable with, to be honest. These are hard things to admit or say, even to one’s self.
... asks the guy who made two different accounts to comment on the same article
Trevor Noah didn’t tell her how to react. He was floored, and I was too, that she confronted him with all of his hateful tweets and let the whole thing go with an “did I do that? Oh, excuse me,” then moved on like it never happened.
Incidentally, “kid gloves”, also the name of the mittens from the children’s department that Donald Trump must buy to fit his tiny hands.
Someone leading or supporting a movement isn’t the movement. The ideals are. I hope he is treated appropriately after this is investigated, whether it is criminal charges or his name being cleared. It’s a serious accusation and deserves to be treated seriously and investigated thoroughly.
Really more of a commentary on your eagerness to do a play on “Black Lives Matter.” If she’s white, your cute little commentary doesn’t work.
Well, can’t wait for this one guy to be used as “proof” that the entire movement is irredeemably awful and needs to be shut down. That’s going to be tons of fun on Twitter and Facebook.
