I would absolutely spend nope, can’t do it. I tried.

Absolutely not. But they just have to sell enough to desperate fanbois. This does not appear to be a mass market car though. At $60K they are booking on clowns paying a HUGE premium for a manual (with family seating).
This is what I do not understand about this car. Who is looking for this kind of driving experience that wouldn’t save money and just buy the Civic (which debatably has more brand cachet)? If this was the auto only or auto optional of the civic/integra duo it would make perfect sense. As is there are plenty of…
I hope so. But I bet the aftermarket that makes things like angry face Jeep grilles would probably make massive fronts for pickups.
This is probably the most intelligent comment to date about this issue. It isn’t that we don’t have enough lithium and cobalt in the planet. It is just that it can’t be mined if it is at difficult depths to reach because that is expensive, and the technology currently used isn’t up to it. Mining is also extremely…
I rarely side with automakers or dealers, but damn these owners suck and just need to deal with it. This is literally how every consumer product works. Unless there was a contract or documentation stating these would never be made again... too fucking bad? This is what you get for overpaying for stupid vehicles.
I am on my 3rd EV. The first was a Spark, a 2017 Bolt, and now a 2021 Bolt. Between the 3 of them and 8 years or so I think I have visited the dealer 2x both for software updates. What this article needs to do is break down the issues by brand and contrast against # of vehicles sold. What you will likely see is Tesla…
Harsh, but fair.
you get one from the internet archive, for that
But the V10 is actually fast.
That and the base 2024 GT is coming with many features that were not standard on the 2015 GT. Once optioned similarly and then adjusted for inflation the price is basically the same. Sucks that they are getting rid of the bare bones base GT. However, at least you can still get a new V8 and 3 pedals.
And the 2024 Mustang GT comes with more standard equipment
Also, this new Mustang has a LOT more standard equipment over the outgoing model. A base Ecoboost S550 is a pretty barebones affair inside. Once you add the Sync system to the current model, the price is about the same.
And the dealer wants $28,950 for it. If you take into account the Cobalt SS Turbo’s original MSRP of $24,095, this dealer thinks this thing appreciated nearly $5,000 in value in almost 15 years.
I hope the environmentalists are OK with digging two dozen 1000 acre open pit mines full of diesel powered equipment to supply the lithium and copper to build all of those battery powered cars, not to mention the Congolese warlords filling their Swiss bank accounts with the proceeds from their slave worked cobalt…
INDEED. Came here to say the same thing.
Could be a hybrid... and then only 2 people in Congo would need to die.
It really is very heavy. So heavy it might be the first time the Corvette out weighs the Camaro [of the same vintage]?
