Drove a rwd hemi Chrysler for years through new England winters just fine. The difference is wen u lose control in a fwd it’s okay Jesus take the wheel versus in a rwd u actually have the ability to throttle out of the skid. Give her some extra gas , cut the wheel and have some fun instead of barreling into that tree

100% get snow tires but I would never personally recommend RWD to a non-enthusiast in a harsh winter geography. I thought that the underperformance was being exaggerated when I went from an AWD Lexus IS250 to a RWD IS200T but I learned very quickly that even with a good set of winter tires, the difference is night and

Reason number one I love my Franken7. Tires last FOREVER. Brakes too.

The people complaining about the power have probably never driven something lightweight and nimble with adequate power. 228 HP and 2800 lbs sounds LOVELY. It gives you the chance to row through the gears, but you also won’t feel like a hazard on the road. This thing is probably very nice in the canyons.

Ford Flex. It wasn’t a flop, but selling a little over 300,000 units during a run of 12 model years wasn’t enough for the blue oval. Selling a CUV alternative is tough when your customers overwhelmingly prefer a regular old CUV. The cool and funky wagon-ish vehicle lost out bigly to the generic blobs. Sad!

What you want is a GTI.

Exactly - This reminds me of the old saying “It’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.”

With apologies to Bradley Brownell and the approximately 17 other people who actually put their money where their mouths are... the Regal TourX.

Alright but for the record I call dibz on the piss 10 out of 10 times.

That, and they already accomplished their legitimate missions. 40 hour work week, paid sick leave, working conditions that don’t result in immediate death, etc. Most of what the union bought you is now law, you get it whether you’re unionized or not.

Indeed. Corruption will forever be a function of time and population size.

Tech industry. Gargle, mucosoft, facebork are each bigger than standard oil ever was.

If the past 2 years have proven anything to me, it’s that almost no one knows how Darwinism works.

Tinder, but for shitboxes.

I was looking for this comment - exactly this. Having an RE71 on the front axle with OEM rubber on the rear will absolutely help an FWD vehicle rotate on turn entry. There were plenty of ways for VW to go about this launch, but “ringer” rubber kinda makes them lose credibility.

it’s also kinda sneaky that they only put them on the front, definitely would help the car rotate and feel more neutral.

The world needs more hatchbacks.
