Wow, this is an insane response. Kudos.
You’re not taking into account vehicle mileage, of which the aftermarket contributes very little.
This seems like an incredibly big waste of tax $$ and resources. This is like a forest being on fire and the fire department worrying about a concession stand that sells lighters.
I knew there was a good reason why I didn’t bother watching the video.
I hate their videos so can’t be bothered to check, but did they use correction factors?
Let’s be real: if you can get netflix/amazon/hulu etc on the passenger screen, it makes sense. Who wants to hold up their phone on a long trip? Just sit back, relax, and watch John Wick.
That picture makes me miss my ‘71 CB750. Exactly the same color! Got stupid money for it on BaT, people want these bikes.
The pay package is in stock, not actual money. Tesla don’t have anywhere near $56B in actual money to use on R&D. There’s also clauses in the deal where Musk can’t sell it.

Hey, if you’ve got it all figured out, go do it man. I’m all for it, but dismissing the difficulty is ignoring reality IMO. Prove me wrong.
Yes....and social security is a freaking MASSIVE undertaking to implement and track. I don’t mean tracking the actual people, I’m talking about how do you make this a usable feature the average old person can take advantage of. What is going to happen? Are they going to submit expense reports every month that get…
The non-uniformity is the problem. The way this would apply in Houston is way different than it would apply in LA, which is also different than NYC...nevermind what it looks like in North Dakota. You’d need a very large team of people to sort that all out.
