VW XL1 is so underrated. What a cool, cool car.

How....just HOW do you make it through development and not notice this?!?!
I’m genuinely curious how you know that. That seems like a VERY complicated thing to calculate.
The per-passenger vs. airlines thing is ridiculous. People get on a plane for 3 hours and then get off, you’re living on this thing for a week. Using A to B travel emissions doesn’t make any sense for a comparison.
*Dealers shouldn’t be allowed to spec their cars
If we were to round up all the recalls from any modern car company they’d all look bad.
If we’re using more electricity, and we would use a lot more if mass BEV adoption happens, then the grid would have to be massively upgraded. I have absolutely zero faith that will happen in any meaningful way.
Wait until the power grid is unreliable instead of the chargers.
Hyundai is a company on fire. They’re just killing it.
The 4WD systems on these had issues, I’d take the 2WD all day.
The ‘08 and later 3Vs are great. Fixed the cam phaser issues, and changed the spark plug design to a one piece.
They fixed the 3V in ‘08 when it went to a different plug.
This list is invalid without a TVR Sagaris
As a Democrat, I’m free to make fun of how negative my own party has become.
I’m pretty sure being positive or complimentary of absolutely anything makes you a Republican, and thus the devil, in 2024.
Nailed it.
Speaking of the Aztek, seems like automakers are trying REALLY hard to make sure the Aztek seems good looking. BMW XM, new 7-series, Cybertruck, VW iD4, etc are all hideous. The automotive landscape is filled with ugly right now.

Agreed, I think Andy has been spoiled and doesn’t understand what a truly cheap/bad interior is. Go drive a 90s Cavalier, go drive a K-car. This thing might as well be an S-class.
I’ve had several as rental cars. In particular, the 2020+ versions impressed me for the money.
