His folks worked in a Slusho plant. That's why he's… special.

I just hope Kasdan can bring some of that Dreamcatcher magic. Dudditz wouldn't hurt us!

Are you the other person that liked that movie? It's my favorite of his, followed by Be Kind, Rewind if you turn it off after the first half hour.

On the plus side, that may have marked the return of stop-motion to the franchise.
On the other hand, the droids and spaceships would all be made of cardboard.
Actually, that sounds like it would be awesome. It's too bad you're lying.

Thanks for pointing out that he had something playing; I just looked up some reviews and it sounds pretty good. Although it's a loose remake of an Icelandic (I think?) movie, it sounds an awful lot like the short novel The Restraint of Beasts to me, which is a good thing. Of course, you may think my taste is suspect

I can't even be bothered to hate Dead Snow. I can hardly remember watching it.

Yeah, it does, but apparently I'm in the minority in liking 3 second best. I prefer its goofiness to the boring over-seriousness of 2 and 4. I'll even say that Phantasm 4 is Coscarelli's worst movie I've ever seen.
Also, anyone who hasn't seen Kenny & Co. needs to rectify that shit, pronto.

Just don't use "ze", because it makes you sound like a prick who would object to being called a prick on the grounds that it's a gendered insult.

I hope so too, but I'm also convinced that the world is set up to reward horrible people, so I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, much like Tenacious D, their music only works in the context of their visual output. And what @avclub-c1fe85b855c6d045b827f74a1e2c3fd7:disqus  said.

Yeah, I made the mistake of correcting my 5th grade science teacher's pronunciation of "anemone" once, and she made ruining my life a special project of hers. She once claimed I hadn't turned in an assignment, and when I produced the paper with her grade on it, she proceeded to lower the grade because it was "late".

Yeah, that ending really sunk the movie.

Actually it's really the novelization of the new Godzilla movie.

@avclub-b5419639a68181f34ce2a65908a4008e:disqus - well, it's not easy to find online at least, but I did find out that it was in the Review of Contemporary Fiction, Volume IV, which I didn't remember since I just have a photocopy of the page I made over ten years ago.

It covers Thanksgiving, too, so it's really a multi-tasker.

I like that they teach the dog to stop being racist, and now he just hates everyone.

I'll actually take Ladykillers over O Brother or The Hudsucker Proxy, but I'll also admit that preference is very subjective. It's been too long for me to really judge Intolerable Cruelty, as I don't think I've seen it since the theater.
