I'll actually take Ladykillers over O Brother or The Hudsucker Proxy, but I'll also admit that preference is very subjective. It's been too long for me to really judge Intolerable Cruelty, as I don't think I've seen it since the theater.

…and Burroughs isn't even really a "beat"; he was too old. I never understood the appeal of "On The Road". Well, no, actually I do get it, I just don't relate. I am a real fan of Burroughs, though, especially his 80's stuff (Western Lands trilogy), and I'll probably watch this to see Viggo's impression of him, and to

Well, maybe this one time. I actually really like reading his reviews, but I almost always wind up not liking movies he champions (Leslie Vernon comes to mind, but it happens a lot).

Yeah, I'd say trans is an orientation for most cases. The internet has also taught me that it's impossible not to offend trans folks.
I think some people might be oriented more towards poly, but most people I've encountered could be better described as serial cheaters, since they basically fuck whoever they want, but

I can't believe I kind of liked it.

Well, TV still costs a little less, so there's not as much motivation to micromanage. But, you do have a point about the 70's; it's pretty much my favorite decade of any genre of film. Perhaps I should have said 80's, where the vigilante thing survived, while other stuff, not so much.
