I wouldn't know there was an emergency until the looting began. TV and Radio are fine, but they really need a text or email system. My college used such a system, and it worked very well.

Road construction is downright appalling in my state. Simple projects take months longer than they should, roads aren't cleared in a timely manner, and roads seem to be specifically designed to increase traffic issues.
