I think you can tell the demo this film is targeted at by hearing that horrible "country" (not country) song used at the end. Yikes.

It can't please everyone. They're being creative and writing arcs that are somewhat unique, and still true to all things metal.

ok I downvoted, but yer kinda right. They made it sound like a lot more was going to happen. But I still had a great time watching it. The music made it alll worth it. so good.

yeah likewise, I have that issue with most Metalocalypse stuff on air. I had to mess with my sound system a bit to where I could enjoy the music but also follow the lyrics and story along

Plus the entire concept is ambitious as hell.

The rehab one was my favorite. It's the first insight into the musical format , and I thought it was one of the most innovative things I've seen in a long time.

Sluggish writing? It was great. Every step along the way did something entertaining, or informative. Just because it didn't move at breakneck speed. It still moves faster than Mad Men for x-sakes.

Agreed, I simply loved it. He mentions that it doesn't move anywhere in the beginning. 1. It's a comedy. 2. It's a cartoon. 3. They have to set up the story, not everyone could re-watch that last episode that aired 15 months ago. 4. The Thriller part was AMAZING! Probably the best song in it that wasnt 'metal'. 5. I
