I’d like to hear from Alex Garland’s former AD.

I didn’t read it that way - W’Kabi obviously agreed with Killmonger, he wanted KM to be king and carry out his plan.

I didn’t see that as ‘very little’, but central to the entire tale.

If you could only devote this rhetorical energy to something productive, you would be really kicking ass at that productive thing.

I saw it as transitional: The security and safety of the old regime is gone, and here’s something new and horrific to replace it. Worked great for me.

Odin was not disposed of flippantly.

Dude...wtf you talking bout. You are confusing black Americans love for those listed actors as ALL America’s love for black actors. There is a reason 90% of movies lack the diverse representation of America. It’s because (white) American votes with it’s wallets overwhelmingly to support movies that don’t have these

Who claimed this? Who?

It has been widely discussed for years by people in the industry that putting non white leads in leading roles or making a cast mostly non white is a risk. Studios have used things like Will Smith not selling as well at times overseas as examples. Studios grow more and more concerned with overseas dollars and it’s

Killmonger was motivated by personal revenge, sure, but he was also motivated by a bigger kind of revenge - the revenge of an African man in America who saw Wakanda’s wealth used only to help Wakanda, leaving him and millions of descendants of Africans to struggle, suffer, and die.

Nah, they just don’t want to renegotiate her contract from supporting to leading.

just fucking give us Black Widow already!

Christ Almighty, you’re a fucking pill.

I think you might be overestimating how much the general public cares about (or is even aware of) the Warriors Three.

Well, considering what Black Panther is doing at the box office this weekend, and considering that it has three distinct female heroes (Okoye, Shuri, and Nakia), it would be hard to argue that having more female heroes in these movies would be a bad thing.

Considering that the X-Men used to be the biggest franchise in Marvel Comics, it’s astonishing that FOX never managed to better utilize characters like Storm, Rogue, and Jean Grey (to a certain extent).

I highly doubt that the MCU is nearly as planned out as people think. Look at how fast they were able to change things when they got Spider-Man. They immediately slotted a Spider-Man film in and pushed Black Panther and Captain Marvel back.

Karen Gillan as Nebula is an obvious must for this.

I disagree about Johannson’s Black Widow, but Gurira’s Okoye absolutely blew me away.

SPOILERS for THOR RAGNAROK

I was initially bummed that Jaimie Alexander wouldn’t show up as Lady Sif, I’m certainly glad the character didn’t get killed off so casually like two of the Warriors Three (at least Hogun got to go down

He was right to bring in the alien symbiote, but that should have been the setup for bringing in Venom in 4.

And didn’t most of the stuff plaguing the production of Spider-Man 3 basically boil down to Avi Arad insisting that Venom be in the film? I mean, it probably would’ve been a step down from 2 no matter what, as Raimi was getting just a little too soapy—there’s a case of knock-on-the-head amnesia, and that butler reveal
