It's desolate in the sense that nobody designs niche apps for Windows Phone. While all the big ones might be there (weather, news, etc) things like event-specific, promotion-specific, business-specific apps and others simply don't exist.

Yesterday's stress test was (supposedly) done with the release client and the graphics stability was much improved. With an EVGA 570 HD and a basic quad core cpu I was able to play on max with a steady 50-60 fps in most areas.
