@bj91x: Isn't a large part of the WoW experience the social aspect? I'm sure you could play WoW by yourself and have a perfectly good time (perhaps some players prefer this), but I'm guessing that after awhile it stops being about the next level or next item and more about the next time getting together with friends.

For a moment I was actually expecting something just like Sonic Generations—a mix of 2D and 3D platforming. Which has already been done of course, but it would've been cool to see some kind of Super Mario 3/64 hybrid.

I did appreciate the fact that WC3 attempted to make the races more unique—for example, there weren't any differences between Footmen and Grunts, the only real ones were the spells learned by say Ogre Magi/Paladins and Death Knights/Mages. However, I agree with you that introducing Heroes was a whole other thing, and

Hell yeah! WC2 was just epic, and the expansion was really sweet too. I have mixed feelings about WC3 and never played WoW, but WC2 will always be a classic in my eyes.

Heretic! Man, that's a blast from the past. Did you ever play Descent? I wonder if cheat codes could be used in that game as well. Definitely had its frustrating moments.

You know what, you've got a point. I really need to brush up on my Christian eschatology.

@Mike Pants: I certainly don't expect the second coming of Christ, in fact nor do I want it, because that would theoretically mean the end of videogames as we know them.

@QualityJeverage: No gameplay content in the TF2 store? It has weapons for sale, and even certain usually cosmetic-only hats can offer set bonuses when paired with other items.

But...but Captain Viridian...so sexy...

@Rakuen42: I can't believe I waited until now to buy the game. Never have I enjoyed killing myself again and again so incredibly much.

Thanks for the advice. It does help on payload maps since on a big push it's bound to hit someone, but then again I'd rather just choose a demo or soldier and blast everyone away.

Ah, that sucks. I always found it difficult to use the Flare Gun; the projectile seems too slow. It's not like the soldier's rocket where it has tons of splash radius, it's just a dinky little pellet. I suppose it has its uses on certain maps where long-distance combat is inevitable, but then I'd just rather switch

Gee, sounds like I underestimated it. Now I'm sorrier it was nerfed!

Oh snap! I totally forgot about that. You're probably a better pyro than I am. I really like the axtinguisher and it works great with the degreaser, but I also like the attendant set bonus. Still, I think the axtinguisher is the best melee weapon for the pyro (outside of melee-only servers).

@Bubbleman! gets the Lead out.: Sadly true. I'm okay with turn-based battles, but I like them to be interactive, like the timing component to the Mario RPG/Paper Mario series, and have an element of strategy. Still, the vast majority of them end up being simplistic, boring, and tedious, especially if you have to

Well, once you get the Eyelander powered up enough, you don't even really have to crit. You can just run around and slash people and tank the damage. Will a targe crit even be able to one-shot certain classes anymore?

Exactly, and it's not like 25% isn't substantial or anything. For melee weapons that's huge.

Hooray, airblast backburner! But the Demoman's swords got nerfed. :/
