@Habboi: Indeed, those two are among my favorites, with the third being Jib Jig. For some reason, I really like the melody for it—both melancholy and upbeat at the same time.
@mintycrys is on an UBER STREAK!: Ah, that actually sounds really cool. There are some songs that don't sound so good standalone but I like them anyway because they fit the game so well. I suppose this is one of those soundtracks.
@jpcline004: Thanks for the post, but I like this song even less. It seems way too busy for most of the song and the melody is just kinda clownish and doesn't really develop. The instrumentation is okay, but the quality is really bad—I think this song would sound a lot better with live instruments, especially the…
@mintycrys is on an UBER STREAK!: I definitely shouldn't judge a soundtrack based on one song, but the above selection sounds like slightly cheesy synthpop, like Rainbow Road. Good, but hardly "unrealistically high".
@jpcline004: Tweak this a bit and it could totally be the next Rainbow Road theme.
As incredible as the DKC soundtrack is, I think I have to give a very slight edge to DKC2. Perhaps it's the whole pirate theme permeating a good chunk of it, but I love it so very very much. The Diddy/Dixie victory ditties were a nice touch, as well as each death theme being slightly different based on which stage you…
@Howunfortunate: I like songs that are melodic, but good, chill, slightly spooky ambient music.
@TrevinDilfersHeart: Mmm, I love me some STD pizza.
@Cookiecat: Mikey, 'cause he's a party dude.
@emberdione: Indeed, gotta love importing save games. The sad thing is that Konami currently seems to have no plans on continuing the series...no word of Suikoden VI for years. I've kinda given up on it. :(
@emberdione: Is that what it's going for nowadays? Damn. I still have my copy at home, so I guess if I'm ever $150 in the hole, Suikoden's got my back.
@Steven Hott: I picked up Suikoden I+II for $90 back in the day. While I'm not sure any game is worth $150, it is a very good game, especially if you're a Suikoden fan.
@KimChen: Yes they are, but there are some very fundamental differences.
@Christian Hernandez: Do you value animals more highly than people?
@Aforsakenbird: Like I said, I'm totally with you on cracking down on cheaters that ruin the experience for legit players (I used to play a lot of WC3 back in the day as well, so I know what you're talking about), but it's not my place to tell people what they can or can't do to have fun with their own purchases.…
@Aforsakenbird: Fun is subjective. Some people may not enjoy the challenge as you. (I'm in your camp; I would only use cheats to do ridiculous stuff, I'd still play through the game first as normal.)
@KatanaSwordfish: If there weren't any single player achievements, this wouldn't even be an issue. What irks me is that every single aspect of SC2 is essentially controlled by Blizzard.
@Jaysunli: Because I play games for fun and sometimes cheating is fun? For example, back in the day when I played the Original Doom I used to turn on God Mode so I could pit demons against each other much more easily. Cheating does not necessarily mean people are lazy or greedy.
@OutlawDominus: Least you can type and use the internet, bro. Always something to be thankful for!
