@Sumada: I hear ya on that!

@wild_world_girl: That's a silly question. That would be awesome! And of course they're out there. It's a difficult standard for RPGs to reach, though some titles have come close...the most recent one that comes to mind is Suikoden V.

@Neige: That's a good point, but there's actually a lot that needs to be clarified to answer it properly. For example, how will you know "total play time" (i.e. replayability and such) without actually sitting down and playing the game?

I'd rather play a 10-hour game that has me enthralled and engrossed every moment than a 40-hour game that has long stretches of grinding and exploring dead-ends.

@Shadowace: How about a game like Portal?

@MrGOH: "Made again"...what games lived up to your ideal? Just curious.

@dfxdeimos: I've never been in an actual courtroom, so I'm not really sure. I want to say "worse", but let's face it, there have been some horrible verdicts to cases before.

I'm surprised to hear that elderly people would enjoy this type of game. Then again, if they're retired and just chillin', I suppose that frees up plenty of time to grind levels!

24,000 hours? Good grief. I think if he'd used that time to dig, he'd have reached the earth's core by now.

@dfxdeimos: "Detailed testimony" doesn't mean much when the whole thing can clearly be seen on video. L.A. has a record of siding with the police, and there is the fact that it's not good for the public to have murderous cops running around. I'm convinced that if the video didn't exist, it would've been a "NOT GUILTY"…

@Deadsider: Oh, that. Well, we all have our moments. :D

@Chicken Pawks: You may be right. It seems to be more of a case of abuse of authority than outright racism, though it isn't necessarily ruled out. The guy was on the ground and unarmed—even if he was reaching for his taser, there was no need to even use it.

@SirBrau: No, because that is clearly making fun of the mentally handicapped. Try again. :P

@SirBrau: Please, let's not throw around the term "fanboy"...no one wants to look at it either. ;)

@dfxdeimos: The shooting itself may or may not have been, but the verdict of "involuntary manslaughter" does seem unfair.
