Regardless of the opening box office, she still got paid......probably the highest paid person on that movie because she had name recognition. Even if she was to be paid on the profits, there’s still some sort of base salary.

It won’t fall out of favour. You just have to look at the reasons people are buying SUV’s to understand why.

5 minutes every 30? So, 10 minutes every hour. Good luck finding that much slack time on most people’s calendars.

Good way to get livestock fired.

Now you want me to work and walk? Just kill me now!

Just set the laws such that not providing the data means that Tesla takes full liability.  And if they provide the data and FSD is found to be at fault, give them limited liability (i.e. caps on damages).  Make it in their best interest and they’ll comply.

Alright, I was on the Tesla bashing train for a good while when this news broke, but now that I watch the video I see less “FSD is to blame!” than hundreds of people being used to following too closely while traveling too fast and being distracted.

We’re about to see a bunch of Iranian Juggalos.  https://www.bing.com/search?q=gizmodo+juggallo+facial+recognition&cvid=61a3e9bea2584531bc2f0b4beec5043f&aqs=edge..69i57j0j69i64.7183j0j1&pglt=41&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=W099

The smart thing is to move away from winter, not toward it!

But an EV has an easy out.......just find more places to cram some batteries......increases range (selling point!) and allows you to hit an arbitrary weight target.

I’d like to image you just introduced 10,000 people to XKCD.

The real problem is all the Normies and their dammed SUV culture...I would have wanted that Honda E-thing but nooooo I can’t have it cause it won’t sell well.

You’re missing the point. THEY don’t want to push EVs out, WE want to push EVs out. The incentive is from the government to get more EVs on the road, so they need to target vehicles that can be bought.

There really is no real reason to post an actual physical address when reporting crime. A block location is more than enough to let those in the area know what is going on around them. Citizens monitors 911 and gets dispatch information directly from police frequencies. They probably scrub the address and put it

I don’t have a subscription to Citizen, but essentially the idea is to help subscribers be aware of where emergencies, including crimes, are occurring? Has the app doxxed other actual addresses of non-celebrities? Are we only supposed to feel upset because it happened to a celebrity but not to other people?

But.....by posting a range that covers multiple tiers, that allows them to hire a solid candidate who is in the lower Tier over a mediocre candidate in the top tier. When I hire, I hire more on potential and team fit than I do on years of experience.......if you’re willing to learn, I can mentor you on the things you

Given cost of living in CA I don’t think I’d characterize those numbers as “big”.

I mean, it’s not exactly a huge question why it didn’t succeed: it was, by all accounts, a mediocre vanity project in a nebulously established franchise that’s been hit or miss based around a relatively niche character who really was only of interest to Johnson himself.

Isn’t her power kinda like Tim Roth’s in Lie to Me?

Do they sell trees put together or did you have to buy the LEDs and set it up. I would imagine getting it setup yourself on the tree trying to be accurate and having them equally spaced would be a pain.
