Many companies with locked down installs also look for rogue hardware.  Not sure how they would identify this, but it could still be problematic for some.

We replaced our 16 year old artificial tree this year with one of these.  They are pretty cool.....the mapping process was a bit of a pain because you really need to have your tree in the middle of the room to do it right, but being able to customize the lights was nice.

I live in the south, I’ve never bothered to switch the fan direction because it’s going to be in reverse for such a short period. I had the A/C running yesterday. We’ll have another three, maybe four, weeks of cold weather before spring......and not all contiguous.

If Nord VPN doesn’t buy up all the ad time in Louisiana beginning about 10 minutes after this law goes into effect, they’re fools.

At least the Dyson fan does a decent job of appearing bladeless (the blades are truly hidden from view). These didn’t even try...

I can’t imagine a cleaning task much easier than cleaning a ceiling fan blade. Wipe it off. Ta-da!. These “blade-less” models are still going to collect grime.

Oh how I loathe marketing people.

All these articles about people putting in claims for class action lawsuits stimulates a gambling type response not victims recovery.  These articles should stop on lifehacker...instead inspire the goodness in people as most life hacks do.

Why is Gizmodo pushing all of these class action suits lately?  The only thing they do is to make the lawyers rich.  The members of the class get pennies while the lawyers make hundreds of thousands and/or millions.  And the companies that settle get to claim that they did nothing wrong --- so nothing changes.

I experienced the same from 18 Honda dealers and 2 Chevy dealerships.   I bought a Mazda and a Subaru unmarked up.  I had not considered either.  It was quite a wakeup call.

Honda is bad about having basically one dealership ownership group for a vast area and they won’t haggle at all. Go ahead and drive 120 miles away to go to a different dealership, who cares? We own that one too.

that.. looks like a high tech gag ball.

It really doesn’t matter if you use A-list or Z-list as long as you take your characters and story seriously, which Marvel has always done. Hell, Feige could bring Jack of Hearts and 3-D Man out of mothballs and make a crap-ton of money.

FYI, your site is breaking. I use Chromium Edge as my primary browser and there’s some sort of bug in your ad code (I’m not paid to fix it.....you’re lucky I’ve done this much digging). I don’t have an ad blocker installed, but Edge has some blocking turned on by default. If I switch over to Chrome, the links work.

Baba Booey.

Most of those bad results are due to sponsored listings. The knock-offs know that people are lazy and will often take one of the first matches instead of going to later pages. So it’s worth it to them.

When they are on speaking terms. Apparently my Echo and Roku enabled TV are no longer talking, even if she pretends otherwise when I ask her to control the TV.

One wonders how stupid the ideas people at the big tech companies are.
