The biggest problem is that once you’re “in the system” raises are (barely) COL adjustments. 3% here, 3% there. With the occasional 5% bump market adjustment. The only way to break out of the COL mode is to leave for a new job......and negotiate well on the way in. That should get you a 10-15% increase. If you aren’t…
If it’s made from scratch in the wrong colors, wouldn’t it not be an American flag and thus not covered by any concept of disrespecting the flag?
I think it’s alluding to how pristine and uncompromised it is (or at least is assumed to be.....I’m not up on the details). Spherical cows are kind of like Duck Debugging. It’s a simplification of a complex process. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_cow
I’ll start an plausible but unsubstantiated rumor if you’d like:
It looks like the speed bump is RIGHT outside his garage (my assumption from the picture and what some of the text said), so I can’t imagine him making that turn at any significant speed. Since he was turning in and out, he probably was hitting parts of the car that were not normally hit when one goes over a speed…
Wait.....which P? There are Innie-Ps and Outie-Ps?
I’m so ready for someone’s sexual preferences to no longer be news. Not because I’m anti-anything......I just want it to be so normalized that articles like this would be the equivalent of “the sun was shining today”.
I drove from Austin to Dallas to get a car and a deal I wanted. I actually had a dealer who was willing to match a price I had negotiated with a dealer further away. Of course, when I got on site, they were trying to change the deal so I just told them I’d drive the 50 more miles and talk to “Bob” who gave me the deal…
There are also places where it is no longer worth it (for the lawyers) for you to sue. My wife had a very valid medical malpractice suit. However, here in Texas, they’ve capped payouts at $250k. We couldn’t find a lawyer that would even talk to us about our case. [And that wasn’t even talking to them about whether it…
Except, I experience “that weird snagging sensation” when I touch them.....and I hate it.
how to keep microfiber towels clean......don’t ever buy them or use them. I fall in the DESPISE camp. For towels, just give me traditional terry cloth or old (the more worn, the better) t-shirts.
As a C64 owner when I was in elementary school, I loved RUN magazine.....I’d type the programs in. I even blindly types in the ML code not knowing what I was typing in or what it meant. Then I learned what PEEK and POKE were. I eventually learned Pascal and C/C++ and then went on to get a CS degree. I still love to…
The new logo looks like NIN (Nine Inch Nails for those not in the know).
Because the Kia still gets the $7.5k tax credit and the Tesla doesn’t. We bought the Niro EV back in May (already owning the Niro PHEV which was purchased a year ago). With the deal we negotiated and the tax credit, my EV is actually cheaper than my PHEV. And this was when many cars were going for above list.
One thing you’re missing is that Kia still qualifies for the full $7,500 tax credit.....so I’ll take a $50.5k decked out model, thanks. :D
You forgot to add Q.E.D. -3 points.
<quote> people will be quoting this study a decade from now because it is easy to find.</quote>
Yeah, I expected Taco Bell being number one only because it’s the only way to order certain (popular) items.
This list is very American.
