This guy wants one.

I’m in a suburb of a suburb of a suburb in the Austin area. I bought my 3200 sq ft house about five years ago for $300k (I moved from a 2100 sq ft house because my adult children were moving back in and we needed space for 5 adults). The real estate market exploded and now my house would sell for about $750k. A friend

YES! Kinja sucks. Kinja sucks. Kinja sucks.

People keep assuming that those shopping at Dollar General are seeing $1 as a deal.  Most of their customers shop at Dollar General because it’s the only store in town.  Sure, in the larger cities, it’s people looking for a deal, but the majority of the growth of Dollar General has been in towns smaller than 10k.

With everything going work-from-home, I’ve strongly considered moving further away from the city center. I could get twice the house for half the price and my salary wouldn’t change a bit. There are additional costs (such as shopping at Dollar General because the nearest Walmart is 20 miles away) that offset some of

Exactly. My step-daughter just moved to a town about 25 miles from where I live that has a population of under 1,500 (pending updates from the census). The *ONLY* store in town is a Dollar General. It’s about 15 miles to the nearest town with anything bigger. Even if they drove to the nearest Walmart, any per-unit

But, isn’t the taxing authority your county?  So I just assumed that was the largest geographic area that they had jurisdiction to.  It’s triggering a larger review, so I assume if they find more, they’ll receive a larger penalty.

Can I recruit people who have free time and know how to work a deal to go in to skeezy dealerships on their busiest days and tie them up for hours working through deals and then just walk away.  Waste their time as much as you can?  Play the four square game with them.  Whatever?

It’s hard to tell because the reporter was blocking all of the best parts, but that boat ramp look really steep.......almost too steep.

As far as swimming......Aftershokz makes a pair for swimming. The biggest problem you’re going to have is that Bluetooth doesn’t work through water. So the swimming version has built in memory and you have to sync content over to them via files (think old school MP3 players). The Aeropex that I have are “splashproof”,

I love my Aeropex, too.

Doesn’t the language of any statute matter?  Judges can’t go by what they meant, only what was passed as law.  So if someone were to contest the registration, they might have a chance.

My friends in Austin that work for GM get free use of a car as long as they purchase or lease another car.  They rotate through so many different models.  I’m sure it’s a program for only certain job grades.

Just hang out at a local Cars and Coffee.  Before the end of the weekend, some moron will lose control of his expensive car and need a new one.

People see it as ugly because it is. That sharp point at the top of the cab (when viewed from the side). The rims that look stupid and don’t even match the rest of the aesthetic. That windshield that is probably going to be a reflection nightmare. It has nothing to do with the low poly look —- I lived through the

Well, the comments section only after you’ve waited an excessive amount of time.......

Comment that make a jokey play on words fishing for a “Here’s your star!” follow-on comment.

I also see that the “exploitation of homosexuality” is something that’s been done, too. There have been (in my opinion) instances where homosexuality was shoehorned in somewhere just to check a marketing angle. There have also been several people of influence who have come out as bi or homosexual for a period of time

Lycos and Webcrawler were better.  And AltaVista once it came out.

One would think, but I’ve seen some recent pictures of Kate on magazine covers while I stand in line for groceries and the stress of her position has aged her a LOT.
