And yet, the lead image has nothing to do with the article because the Soul isn’t part of this recall......

You must not wear glasses with thicker arms......

The Snu-ow Wea-sel....

Yeah, it definitely looks over-exposed in the left image.

You can say it’s dead all you want, but we did get Duke Nukem 3D..... Q.E.D.

If you’ve been paying for insurance for 10+ years, they’ve already got more than 15k from you......that’s the whole reason for paying the premiums. Your insurance company effectively “banks” the money and then uses it to pay your claims.  It’s why rates typically go up after a claim (to refill the “bank”).

Farve?  He might be itching to come back and improve some of his numbers now that Brees and Brady are passing him up.

I don’t have a dog in the fight. I don’t live in Chicago and I don’t use the Turo service. But, were I Oates, I would be trying to argue that the business is located at Turo’s offices and not at my apartment since that is where the rental transaction takes place. Kind of like renting a PO Box.

While I think the Austin metro would support a team (the Round Rock Express do great here), I really think that there would be too many Texas teams. I’m against San Antonio for the same reason and they don’t support the Missions quite as well as Austin supports the Express.

New Orleans struggles to keep their triple-A team attendance numbers up.......not sure if they would support a major league team. I think Las Vegas and something in Mexico are your best choices. Either Mexico City (8M population) or somewhere like Merida or Cancun to attract the Cuban population.

I grew up in northern Louisiana. If I wanted to go to a ballgame, it was 5.5hours to the Rangers, 8hrs to the Cardinals, and 7 hours to the Braves.....not enough difference to really matter once you get that far out. Granted, Louisiana is about half the population, but if you add in Mississippi and Arkansas

Well, I don’t wait, but I really do like the act of going to the polling place and casting a ballot. I don’t wait for two reasons: I work from home, so I can go during off-peak times (i.e. not before 9am and not after 4pm and not during the lunch rush) and my polling place serves a relatively small area (population of

May 31st will occasionally line up with Memorial Day. You can’t go mid-May because of Mother’s day. You can’t go mid-June because of Father’s Day (the most ignored holiday). Maybe May 22nd? or June 4th?

These machines have had the same problem (straight party votes) for years. This isn’t a new story. You shouldn’t be voting straight party, anyway. You should evaluate each set of candidates based on their merits (there really are instances where the other party candidate is a better choice).

I know this is well past the date, but in some states, when you turn in your plates early (i.e. transfer the title to someone else or trade it in), you are entitled to a partial refund of the registration. For instance, here is the form for Virginia (https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/pdf/fms210.pdf)

I would have made the same comment if the races were reversed.  It wasn’t being an apologist.  But you’re going charge someone with something, you want to make sure it sticks.  Accusing them of something that could easily be refuted makes the rest of your case look weak.

He was a volunteer manning the polls, not actually voting. So this particular incident wasn’t voter intimidation [not excluding that other actions by J.D. might have been voter intimidation.....just that the documented actions were not].

Because I’d rather spend more time USING my car than waiting at the dealer. Also, higher reliability usually implies higher values when you’re ready to get rid of it. If a particular brand/model is known as a pile of junk, good luck getting any sort of value out of it when you’re done.

Y’all are reading this all wrong. It’s not the story of John Henry. It’s The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen —US Folk-Tale version.
