The same could be said for many of the newscasters. Other than “the station picked them”, what do you REALLY know about their status of being “some sort of informed person”?

That $40 T-Mobile router? It’s on the compatibility list for ASUS AiMesh. Basically, for $120, you can have a three node mesh network that covers your whole house. https://www.asus.com/AiMesh/

I’m glad you included many of the Microsoft offerings. Many people poo-poo them because “M$ Sucks!” and all of that, but really, the products are great (Outlook is better than Gmail and I love being able to sync my OneNote notebooks via OneDrive). They aren’t necessarily the best in each category, but they aren’t…
Just ask Hillary......
Most people aren’t towing. And even still --- make the default match the typical use. You can still have a button for controlling the brake -- just make it default to the preferred behavior and don’t make me think about it.
It’s electronic. I shouldn’t even have to push the button. If I put my car in park and turn off the engine, just automatically engage it. Then, when I start my car and engage a gear, turn it off. Why should I even need to push the button?
I agree. Wait. I’ve been in the market for a smartwatch since earlier this year. For now, I’m getting by with a cheap tracker that will sync to my phone because of the details about the new chip that were just starting to come out right about when I was starting to look.
And don’t forget Cousin Oliver.........
I normally use last year’s software an update all of my numbers. It’s not 100% accurate and doesn’t account for tax law changes, but it’s generally close. I mostly just update my W2 and my major adjustments/deductions (i.e. mortgage interest).....all of the small items aren’t going to make as big of an impact. It…
If it takes a few levels in Druid in AD&D 1st edition.
You think 32 podcasts is a problem....HAHAHAHAHAHA! I subscribe and listen to over 350. Excluding the ones that are very likely dead (no update in at least 6 months) and that number is still over 300. Of those, I have listened to every available episode (starting at the earliest) of most of them —- there are only 9…
I have a ringtone called “silence” (I basically went in to Audacity and created a 15 second clip that had no sound). One an older phone that didn’t support call blocking, I would create a “Blocked” contact and keep adding contact numbers to the contact. The Blocked contact had a custom ringtone using silence.
Is that just a synonym for Porn?
You call out Mississippi, but fail to mention the mirror image state of Alabama. And as far as states that look like something, Louisiana has the boot.
For my wife, it’s “turn the air down” or “turn the a/c up” to indicate that the current temperature is too hot. But I usually try to phrase mine as “make it warmer” or “make it cooler” to ensure no confusion.
I know a lot of people like to sleep under (just a) flat sheet, but I prefer to sleep under just a quilt. The quilt is stiffer and doesn’t touch me as much, so I stay cooler. I’m very much a sweater (and not the knitted kind) and even with just a flat sheet, because it drapes and hugs, I sweat more, but when I use…
Can’t you get a router that does 5GHz and 2.4GHz and then put one device on each band? That should pretty much maximize the bandwidth to each device since it’s dedicated.
Yep. KeePass lets YOU keep up your password vault. There is no central service that can get hacked. You might keep yours only on a thumb drive. Someone else might keep theirs on a DropBox share. Someone else might keep theirs on iCloud.
