I read an article once (years ago, so I don't remember all of the details) that talked about the various personalities of gamers. One of the categories (the one that most represents me as a gamer) was called the Explorer. Basically, we are interested in "seeing" all aspects of a game. We're the type that wants to

We all know that even if MS is first with something, they're copying. I was hoping Apple's new iOS looked Metro-y so that I could laugh at all of the articles about how Apple was innovating and MS was copying. :D

Right now, MS is giving you 3 months with the purchase of 3. Granted, you can get a year for around $35 most of the time, so it isn't a stellar deal, but there are deals all over.

This was going to be my suggestion.

Cheaper.....and easier to hack. Just replace the gel.

With Prime, I'm more apt to go Amazon unless there's a significant price difference......and for cables, Amazon basic cables are perfectly fine for my purposes.

Some people I know claim that the Mac hardware is some of the best Windows machines they've owned.......

Other than my very first job (local diner) and my third job (entering CAD drawings for an engineering firm), all of my jobs (and all of my jobs since graduating from college) have come about because of someone I know. I still had to apply and interview, but having someone at the company that could vouch for me was

None that I've seen when I poked around. I suspect they are either wrapping the web site or scraping it. I want to write some apps that use the API but haven't found any documentation for it on Google's site or through searching.

Out of curiosity......anyone know when Google will release an API for the reverse image search?

That's a cool idea. How effective was it? I've found that looking up a specific item by image gets a somewhat low hit rate, but looking for a concept gets a high hit rate (since the match is looser).

I've used it for shopping......take a picture of an item that you'd like to buy and then reverse image search for it. Specifically, I'm talking about things that aren't yours (so you don't know where they got it) and you want a specific model. It's only about 25% effective right now, but I'm optimistic that it will

I get billowing material not from the circumference (which is what this seems to address) but from sitting/leaning. I like freedom of movement and do a quick bend in all directions (forward, left, back, right) to ensure that my shirt isn't "trapping" me. This leads to a billow of fabric around my waist, but feel

When I upgraded mine, I also opted to not get the base DOCSIS3.0 modem but the one that was a step up. It was still under $100 at Fry's and had higher speed specs on the box (plus the reviews online were better than the cheap one). Sure the specs are theoretical and mitigated by by neighborhood, but the price

Or Nissan during Heroes season 2 (or was it 3). Every time I see a Nissan Versa, I can hear Hiro saying it. And Claire with her Rogue.

If you don't want to straight up quit, still start applying for jobs. Feel free to take extended lunches in order to make interviews. If they do start paying, you can always decline a job interview. If you get a new job, you've still accumulated back-pay they owe you (that you can take legal action to get). Keep

I've heard it called monkey in the middle, but we more commonly called it keep-away.
