They didn't black it out.....they just didn't stitch those photos into the panorama.

Your argument would hold more weight if you could plot the location on Google Earth. Have fun.

Especially when it should be able to stream through MY internet connection. There's no reason that Netflix or Hulu needs to direct through the Gold servers. [I don't know whether it does or doesn't, but the only argument for why it should cost is if it does go through their servers.]

Any word on OS updates? I like my Fire well enough, but it could use an OS refresh.

In general, I still type in proper form. Two spaces, commas, etc. But my texts read like I speak, so occasionally, I'll have incomplete sentences or.........long strings of periods indicating a pause.

I respond to this the same way I do about sexual preference stories: Who cares. Race doesn't matter. Sexual orientation doesn't matter. People are people and deserve to be treated as individuals. Once a person proves to deserve scorn, give it to them.....but until then, treat them well —- regardless of anything

While you can't fit as much storage in it, but a laptop (some larger models support at least two drives) has the added benefit of built in battery backup. It's nice to know that if your power goes off, your computer can gracefully shutdown and not corrupt the file system. A little bit of configuration magic, and it

I find it annoying when my ISP decides that something mangled in the address bar is a malformed DNS entry and takes me to their spam page.

I'll use checks if I need a couple of days for it to clear. Yes, I know they process them electronically, but plastic goes through to my account the same night. Checks normally take a couple of extra days (their end and then for their bank to make it electronic).

As a consultant who sometimes does "staff-aug" gigs, sometimes I can and sometimes I can't.....depends on the client's rules. When in my company's office, it's fair game.

The cutters that look like inverted Bat'leth are best for tougher crust.

Google.com has been "untainted" by ads so that Google could give the impression that they were unbiased in their results. If their "sacred" home page can be "bought", can their search results? (At least, that's the theory being offered by the author — I'm ambivalent about it.)

I was doing a co-op in Mountain View, CA while I was in college. This was before Moffett AFB was closed. They were having an air show and the Blue Angles were practicing. My office was close enough to the air field that I got this exact same view, but instead of a single plane, it was the Blue Angels in formation.

Once the Nexus was announced (and at the $199 price point), I knew that was the only Android tablet to get. It's going to get the most updates (what version is the Fire or the Nook on?) and will have the best feature support. It's the same reason I recommend sticking to the Google version of the phone.

Serving size is two......(going from memory)

If I'm not given a choice, I use Twitter over Facebook (because I don't use that service much). My first choice is a site specific login. I don't mind having to login to each site independently........

I'm pretty sure I saw this last year some time......most likely on a Gawker site, to boot.

Upgraded shipping, streaming, Kindle books. If they'd add in some sort of Zune-pass type music service, too it would be completely awesome. It already got my family to switch to Amazon as one of our primary entertainment sources.

Kind of reminds me of the Super Hero Squad approach that Marvel took, trying to bring appeal to a younger audience.
