Gawker is starting to be as bad as Facebook in terms of frequency of unannounced changes that users complain about.

I was more referring to bankruptcy lasting 7 to 10 years before it is removed from your credit report.

Seven to ten years and it should clear off. Assuming this is allowed to be wiped by bankruptcy (not something I'm much of an expert on).

Yeah, but I'm not liking this multi-paned comment system much because it's hard to figure out where I am. It sort-of fixes the problems from the previous change, but not in a clear way.

Don't you usually put batteries in the freezer to squeeze just a little more life from them?

What's your expected "rent" in terms of purchases? (I posted in another comment that I typically average about $2/hr at a place that I sometimes use as a remote office — and it's not packed such that I'm keeping anyone from sitting.)

As a correction, that's TOP boob. But yeah, that's what made me read the rest of the article. Just like I read the magazine for the articles......

I wore one every day up until about 7 years ago when the battery on that watch died. I quit wearing it and never replaced it. I'm thinking I might get one soon to help my daughter train (she's a swimmer), but I probably won't wear it regularly.

Because it's easier to get unlimited text than it is unlimited data?

uuencode FTW!

If you've been around the Internet long enough, you know about uuencode and split. Back in the day, images were posted in the UseNet feeds as uuencoded messages.....larger ones were split across multiple messages. You can do this via text message just as easily (I'd strip out or simplify the headers, otherwise you'd

I look at review counts, too. Depending on what the item is, I'll look for it to meet some threshold (i.e. obscure items get a 15 to 20 review minimum, really popular items need to be over 50 reviews) before I take any credence in the star rating.

When I switched jobs, I'm now going to client sites frequently and have to pack in / pack out, so I only use the built in LCD screen (but considering getting a smaller USB screen for those instances when it is needed). Prior to that I had four monitors hooked up to a desktop — and four was too many. Three is

Did you see at the 29 second mark where they show the close up of the "finger"? There's an image of a face/hair/shoulders! OMG!!!!

I'd add to small "thrusters" to either side. That should help increase the speed without altering the stability much.

Assuming it traveled twice as fast, it would still take longer to get there than they estimate there is remaining fuel (17.5 vs 8 or 13). Three times as fast (11.7 years) would need the fuel to last towards the long estimate to have hope. Much less the trouble of hitting that small of a target at that distance.

Amazon. I have a Kindle fire and DVD players that all support Amazon but not iTunes.

It would have been interesting to see this list expanded on with examples (both good and bad). Not that I don't understand the questions, but more discussion would have given the article more strength.

When I switched jobs about a year ago, I did this. When I gave them my number, they balked, so I itemized it. I included salary, additional cost of insurance and travel, loss of vacation, a modest bump, and a line item for "risk" because the company I was leaving was large and stable and the company I was going to
