Apart from what the other guy said, Lucid has also been making batteries for a very long time. They were making batteries years before they started making cars.

Don’t forget the huge snow plough you insist on driving attached at all times to maximise drag.
I still can’t do the drive from my in-laws to my house in a day on the 500 mile car. That is 850 miles.
Do you post tedious snark like this about all luxury cars, or just EVs?
This is a non-starter for me. I need to regularly haul my camper, boat and 3 ATVs uphill through the Rockies 1200 miles each way twice a day.
The base model starts at $69,900. Are you surprised that a bleeding-edge tech luxury car is $111,000?
It certainly looks like Bearded Tesla is going into this with his eyes wide open in a modified Cybertruck.
Musk never cared. He was marketing his product. Money and power don't change you, they make you more of what you already were.
A neighbor built a dirt bike track in his back yard. My only concern is that the kids sometimes leave the track and end up in traffic, but it’s pretty slow there. Multiple neighbors try to raise chickens. Which is also pretty cool, until the Racoons eat them all, which is sort of sad. My wife runs a doggy day care…
Eh. No defense for Tesla, but new cars are pretty much always delivered dirty to the dealership, where they are then “detailed” (usually piss-poorly, but better than nothing). With no dealership experience to speak of, and cars delivered directly to customers, they’re getting dirty cars.
Polish, wrap, PPF, tint, ceramic coat, etc. Common things for people to do delivery week of a new car
We have made self flying passenger aircraft since the 1990's. Sure they only handle the flight from just after take off until braking to a stop on the runway. That is because Professional Pilots know that they need to make a split second decision during takeoff, such as “F-ing Geese just took out both engines, land in…
Well the whole tunnel is a Tesla ad...
So they’re not a car company any more, which is the only product they actually make and sell.
I hate the LVCVA for this. It would have been cheaper and much less stupid to just extend the Monorail go to the airport. I blame the pandering to the taxi companies too, since they are the reason it didn’t go there when it was first built.
What’s amazing is that Tesla is trying to make people believe that their “robotaxi” capability is imminent, when Teslas have barely proven themselves able to drive very far without human backup. In the meantime, Navya, Zoox, Waymo and Cruise (not the best example, I know, but their cars were out there unaided) have…
How has it taken this LONG to finally realize this lol. This is 100% proof of why FSD has always been utter bullshit. If it can’t do it in what amounts to a 100% controlled environment, what makes anyone think it can do it on a public road.
that because you must be braindead to buy one.
zombies lack the fine motor skills to peel an orange, its totally safe.
All you can do now is zlither away...
