Here’s my 60 second fix. Excuse the laughably bad Photoshop.

The yoke-style wheel looks bad-ass, but it’s downright dangerous in reality. Unless they’ve got some other type of software that can detect when the driver is doing something like a U-turn or another maneuver that would normally require hand-over-hand motions? Even then, there would be a learning curve to master that

Looks are subjective but..........no.

Yes, let’s keep promoting the idea that you can watch media in the car that you’re supposed to be driving. This with “Autopilot” is downright negligent.

If he knew more than like 12 pop culture things, it would be fun.

There’s a reason why it’s on concept vehicles, formula cars, and airplanes and not on production vehicles.

1) That steering wheel is immensely stupid and was designed by someone who hasn’t operated a car. It might have some progressive steering where low speed, full-rotation maneuvers are handled so you don’t need to go 720 degrees, but come on.

It is, because Musk is a child.

Its the MUSK Industries Twenty Twenty One!

I like the rest of the interior but the steering wheel looks like the yoke of a small plane. Which works really well in a plane, but only because it’s 0.5 turns lock-to-lock. And god, why didn’t they update the exterior. They’re gunning for the Dodge Challenger’s crown as the oldest car without an exterior redesign.

Still do not understand why something like this is not offered as a password protected setting on every powerful car as a “valet mode”. Similar to the red/black keys on the Hellcats but even more restrictive. Why would a valet, entry level dealership employee, etc. ever need more than, say 100 hp?

Making EV’s is a side hustle for TESLA.

1st: You can’t think that Tesla’s regulatory credits is going to be a long term revenue source and think that the whole market is moving to EVs. Those things contradict each other. Tesla needs to figure out how to make money selling cars before the behemoths enter the EV market in full force.

1st Gear: Side gig, nothing, this IS their business. While I personally view Musk as a clown, Tesla has gotten into the position where it gets paid to exist by its competition.

A guy asks for something unique and two staff recommend BMWs?!?!?

Stretch the budget a few grand and get a Cayman GTS 4.0.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that last night while I was high, I bought a BMW i3 used for $14K. How do you think I should tell my wife?

There is a certain subset of the population that believes their way is the right way, the only right way, and that they will be the saviors of the human race and the planet as a whole.  Annoying doesn’t even begin to describe that mindset.

It is equally annoying to have the EV true believers go on and on about how they will rule the world in three years or whatever.
