No doubt. I was just using the simple math of "this is half of one for $300, so a full one could be twice that".

If it weren't for Tony Starch talking in tiny spritzes, I don't think I would have appreciated this as much as I did.
One of my biggest gripes with this this is maybe just the aesthetic of it cutting off at halfway. The only way this "life-size" thing could look convincing is from dead-on. Any angles reveal that it is not, in fact, standing in an alcove. Ruins the three-dimensional nature of real, actual astromech droids.
I'd rather pay twice as much for a full R2 unit that beeps and squawks with a turning/spinning head that I have to punch a hole in my wall to put half of it in. This doesn't feel worth $300.
There's also the "residual heat" setting, where the first time you use it on 3, it gets the toast slightly underdone. If you put 2 more slices in immediately after the first, they are damn-near charred.
Anyone else remember liquidgeneration.com? I spent so much time watching Suck My News... Weekly and Masterpiece Movie Reviews [YouTube] along with their other stuff. Just priceless.
This seems timely and appropriate:
Can I be the first person I have seen mention that any time there's a "Call to Arms," Ollie and Roy immediately walk over and grab their bows? While wearing street clothes, mind you.
I can't put my finger on it, but old Peggy reminds me of someone...
I couldn't get past this sentence:
I desperately want someone to crop circle Clippy with a speech bubble saying "It looks like you're making a crop circle. Would you like help? -Get help with making the crop circle -Just make the crop circle without help [ ] Don't show me this tip again"
Lucy in the sky with Carbon.
I don't remember that particular "promotion", but I remember when I first got the game, the Amazon listings were all $50+ for the base game. I'm glad they got the supply up.
This one makes me chuckle. Even though Gold would probably still far outstrip it, you'll hardly ever find Carbon show up... because musicians use the word "Diamond".
I got an email from them today, stating that I could buy Literal Bullshit from them for $6. Every line of description from the site leads me to believe it will be a small box of beef droppings. I ordered one.
AB has some ideas on this:
Good to know! I had no idea that was even a thing.
So, I know a guy who once cut down a tree. The tree was standing where he wanted his fire pit to be. He probably had 5-10 bonfires on that thing, burning around the stump of the tree, still in the ground, until the stump was burned away.
I got 3 of 5 on shitty, 2XL brand $10 earbuds. I don't know if that means I'm a decent guesser or if I could actually hear a difference, but I am not the target audience, that's for sure. I'll possibly try again on my system at home once I'm done with work.
