No it was unfortunately Virgil to John. How Erika ended up marrying John is the thing that sorta makes no sense to me.
Evie was almost too protected by John. And favored him, not Erika.

On Meg , yes she is shown at the end but more defiant than ever. I wasn't sure what her situation was after she sang that eerie rendition of the Miracle song with Evie. If they go with a 3rd season Meg would be front and center. In any case, she didn't look at all concerned to me. Far from it.
