The problem with Rules of Engagement is they don’t allow for surprise attacks aka USS Cole.
Back to Iran flight 655. It was shot down by the USS Vincennes, after the Vincennes failed to make contact.
So you support the idea of shooting down an airliner overflying a ship (I.E. Iran Airflight 655). I’m taking this to extremes, but this drone wasn’t engaged because it didn’t meet the rules of engagement. We can’t pick & choose when the rules of engagement apply.
at the same time, because it was in the very twilight of Clintons Administration, it was Bush’s administration who decided against responding with force.
Problem is Id want to keep whatever I bought. I'd have to buy something I hate, which makes it all the harder to work on.
You could (easily) argue that the V-1 buzz bomb of WW2 was a drone. You could also argue the V-2 was an intercontinental ballistic missile.
I like this car.
Theres something that seems off...
I thought QOTD was dead?

In your initial post it seemed like that Iran ‘accidentally’ boarded our ships.
I wouldn’t call intentionally boarding a vessel flying the U.S. Flag an ‘accident’.
Oh I thought he was talking about a MK7
Isn’t the GTI a 2.0l?
I had no idea you were a teacher :O
“Volkswagen made a decision to cheat on emissions tests and then tried to cover it up. They continued and compounded the lie and when they were caught they tried to deny it.”
I never cared much for spelling, but as far as I can tell I spelled everything right.
But a 5% cut can lead to cut pay and jobs else where, which recirculates into other jobs, until the entire economy is going down the spiral of fiscal death.
