Wal-Mart has been my source for oil for years. It’s the cheapest place to get Mobile 1 in 5 qt jugs (much cheaper than Amazon) and they usually have a decent assortment of the other major brands too. Their filter selection was weak, but that seems to be improving as well.
Why did you post a picture of a 710 cap in a post about oil?
This is PR move. It sets them up in positive light no matter the outcome.
THIS! Id like to add something but I can’t, you worded it perfectly. Just because rules are no longer in place does no mean that you can no longer make your own and make more fuel efficient cars
Great point and I wondered it myself. Between having to develop more and more efficient vehicles for Europe and now California, surely they could just develop all of their vehicles to those standards and automatically satisfy everything via the same effort. It even gives them advantages over their competitors to be…
This was my thought as well. Don’t like there being two standards? Make your cars to the higher one and then you only have one to worry about. I guess some might worry about competitors going after the low-hanging fruit, so they don’t want there to be low-hanging fruit. But if they collectively think that one standard…
So, why don’t the automakers just follow the CARB rules and thus would be complying with the US Federal rules? Why does the government “need” to place the rules? Aren’t the automakers made up of good upstanding people? Obviously with their letter they care about the environment right? So what exactly is stopping the…
Weird, it’s like people are realizing the president’s a dumbass or something...
M3 vs Model 3...
No one needs to buy a $78k car, but Tesla needs to sell a $78k car.
It’s kind of amusing to see the Model 3 hype die down. A few people at work pre-ordered them, and at the time I told them it’ll be $50k+ to get range, AWD, and even basic options. They didn’t believe me and kept quoting that $35k price. And here we are... and none of them have said a word about the car since full…

Bunch of fuckin’ edgelords trying to score internet points.
This should just be titled “A List of Things About Other People’s Cars I Don’t Like Therefore They Shouldn’t Exist, Even if They Don’t Really Inconvenience Me All That Much. These, for the most part, aren’t even trends, just pet peeves that people get butt-hurt over.
Hmm: 310hp/ 348lbs-ft. How will Chevy try to “pussify” Ford’s Ecoboost V-6 325 hp (242 kW) and 375 lb⋅ft (508 N⋅m) as they did with the “Nyah, nyah aluminum is for beer cans” campaign? It’s interesting that GM’s ad agency seems to have latched on to the same masculinity-questioning and self-congratulatory “bruh”…
310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque
Getting a turbo 4-banger into a fullsize pickup is step one, now they need to put a big battery tray and electric motors into it to give it plug-in hybrid capability with at least an 80 mile electric-only range.
Ford took so much crap for putting their turbo six in the F-150. I can’t wait to see how much GM takes for this! Also, prepare for the onslaught of Silverados with fart cans, out-buzzing your hoonigan wannabe neighbor.
