I think you are saying that Apple already understands the luxury car market.

and that buddy is McLaren?
Should we make all roads tolls?
Yes. This is what I was hoping for. Still, in general, Americans only buy hatches if you call them a Crossover.
You have a point about the hatchback but the rest makes you crazy. In my opinion, obviously. I wanted the Model 3 to have a proper hatch but Americans just don’t buy them.
“let’s be honest here, most Tesla 3s are probably going to be selling for $40k-45k with options.” exactly. They are NOT competing cars. The only reason we keep trying to say they are is that they are EVs. If they were conventional ICE we wouldn’t even mention them in the same sentence.
i think if he directs his anger towards single entities it’s easier for his supporters to feel passionate about it.
So I can trade in my 2009 cts for $2500 when a private party sale would get me over $10k lol.
It’s hard to define for me. Because if it’s just by money than I would say that 50k number is on the higher end. However, it’s not entirely out of the ordinary for “blue-collar” jobs like construction or manufacturing to pay north of $80k.
This really highlights all that “value” the car dealers tell us we will lose with the Tesla model.
To me that just shows that he doesn’t think he was doing anything wrong and from my perspective probably wasn’t. If you are paying for the trade in you want to make sure there are no major issues.
My wife crashed her Subaru in exactly this manner.
$50k join income is not working class?
That’s $50k at the married + filing jointly 15% bracket. Or basically the median household income in the US. More common than I had assumed.
Assuming you owe that much in tax to begin with.
The other manufacturers have the capital to do it but they were still waiting for someone else to prove the market. Tesla is still an upstart American automobile manufacturer. As we all know the last one that succeeded was Ford. They have the odds stacked against them but they are doing OK.
Yeah. It’s not lack of dales that is the problem for tesla. It’s that the gigafactory is such a large investment.
Maybe they would sell a few if the i3 didn’t make everyone want to gouge out their own eyes.
We do costco trips like twice a month. It’s usually my wife, my kid(carseat), either set of grandparents, and me. We run out of room in my MKX. There are definitely people that do use larger SUVs. If a Tahoe didn’t cost so much I would have one too. I’m not sure why people get so bent out of shape over another…
The argument wasn’t about cost it was about utility.
