First they destroy the DSM. Then continue with a car that was an “Eclipse” in name only. Now they pull the plug on the Evo. Part of me has died inside with Mitsubishi. Then they show up to the autoshow with the mirage to throw salt in my wound.

Crackpipe
Mostly because it’s expected from a young manufacturer, like the article explained. That and they simply love the brand.
Bone stock turbo DSM. Either generation but finding one with out shitty eBay mods is like finding a unicorn. Most rare would probably be a second generation Talon. For some god awful reason everyone converts them into an eclipse. #savethetalons
Every comment you make will be read in that accent from this point forward. #thanksbeeell
I don’t love the Ecliose, I love DSMs. As far as I’m concerned the eclipse died in 99. Had a 99 eclipse and a 95 talon. I would like a 97 Talon tsi awd.
They will have to brand it as something else in the US. Like that small "jeep".
OP implied they didn’t get a mutli billion dollar bailout and they didn’t I was referring to this “The credits benefit smaller companies much more than larger ones.” I think we’re switching context between credits and tax rebates so I can’t follow your argument. I’m just over here happily awaiting the day I get to…
First of all, how? Secondly, I would see no problem with that. GM could be benefiting from the Tax Rebates if they made something worth buying.
That is a major advantage for the Model 3 over the Bolt. Besides the fact that those two vehicles would never be compared if they didn’t have electric motors in common. GM not investing in infrastructure shows a lack of vision and commitment to the EV market.
I can’t tell this is going to be a worthwhile discussion...
I feel like it’s largely based on potential future growth (that’s why you invest anyway). A small company like Tesla has plenty of potential growth. A large company not so much.
3. GM and all automakers can take advantage of the same fucking incentive. People act like it’s only available to Tesla...
The credit can go towards any EV. The consumers just happen to be choosing the best ones.
You can say this about literally any fast vehicle. “I saw a {insert supercar} and it was doing the speed limit.”
Dude, I’m not going to lie. I’m very confused by your comment. I was defending the Model S.
Yeah, that original comment was spoken like someone who has never driven a Model S.
So we’re going to go back to looking like carriages?
It seems to me that no other manufacturer is truly commited to EV rollouts because they aren’t willing to put money into infrastructure like Tesla is. Besides the ugliness of the Bolt it just doesn’t compete with the Model 3 on supercharger availability alone. Not to mention all of the other features I think the Model…
I think it appeals to people who really want to look like they are driving an EV. I just want a normal car that is electric. That’s why I generally prefer the Tesla look to all the other EVs out there. Things like the Focus are OK but they have terrible range.
