I was kind of hoping this will drive the price of the stock down so I can get back in.

He's not going to sell. He's all in on Tesla and they need the capital to keep moving forward with their plans.

Musk owns over 28 million shares in Tesla, which peaked at around $284 in September and is now floating around $200 today. He also owns almost 21 million shares of Solar City, which topped out in February at $86 and is trading today at just over $50.

I don't think most young enthusiast, that purchases themselves, were/are buying new vehicles. I got my first GS-T sometime around 2004. I paid 10k which was kind of expensive but it was a low mileage unmolested unicorn so I was willing to pay a premium. Still miss that car.

I don't own a RWD car simply because of practicality in the rare chance I actually need AWD in the winter. I've only owned 1 RWD vehicle and I will not own another unless I move to somewhere that doesn't get snow. I know, I know, winter tires but I don't really want to spend/can't afford to spend $1000 on a set of

This came up when I was looking at a very, very clean old Mitsubishi Eclipse with my coworker Freddy, remarking that nobody really wants DSMs right now, but everyone is clamoring for 240SXs.

Crankwalk is extremely over exaggerated. The ones that will walk have already done it.

Yeah I guess so. Also when they negotiation a raise it's going to cost the company probably millions because everyone get the increase. They also tend to work side by side with newer members at the same pay which to me seems strange. I'm so used to performance based compensation. Once you get to journeyman wages (or

I agree that I was probably underpaid and still am but if you don't ask you're never going to get a significant raise. Most employers seem to think It's in their best interest to pay you as little as possible.

I negotiated a 40% increase. If you just accept it then they employers will never give you anything.

What are you trying to argue in point #1? Even if true does that mean they should just sit back and take it? What is wrong with asking/fighting for a raise?

lol I know this. It just so happens that cars do rust in the rust belt. It's more likely to see rust on a car in the rust belt than Arizona for example. That area tends to get snow + road salt = rust.

Arizona? I live in the rust belt. I started noticing rust problems about 15 years into the truck's life.

My '97 F150 has never been garage. Rockers are rusted. So is the bed on both sides of the wheel well. You know what didn't rust? The aluminum hood.

I don't want to go out in a Festiva though

It's not. People buy them because it's the vehicle they want and they are fun. Even if fun means being able to accelerate to 65 quicker on the way to the grocery store.

I hate people who buy supercars and don't regularly drive them at 200mph too /s

This guy is kind of public facing right? He's been there for a little while.

Don't forget a roll cage unless you want to die

(Update: Our friends at Road & Track think it could go all-wheel drive, actually. I'd say this one's still up in the air for now.)
