I like games that give you a weapon to fight back with, but it still not nearly enough. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories got old real fast. In Silent Hill 2, though, you have a gun... but you run your ass off from Pyramid Head.

Bioshock 2 for me. I played it for almost 30 hours before it just sank in... “wait a minute... do I even like this?" I’m laying down traps in the dark for forever here and it really isn’t that fun, just tedious. I wanted to like it cuz the first one was fun, but the second was just not for me.

I love the level design and think it really gives it variety while still being controllable enough to be fun. Most 3D Sonic games are a bit too on-rails. Earthbound has a great soundtrack. The song when Jeff escapes the school grounds and goes through the snowy woods is especially my favorite, but I also love Onett and Fourside's themes.

I definitely prefer XB360 since it’s super durable and has so good battery life I almost never have to charge it. Half-Life 2 was affected quite a bit. I doubt this will be the next Half-Life though.

I think Crysis 3's flamethrower deserves an honorable mention. It was probably the hardest gun to get in the game—so hard I didn't even figure it out my first play—but it's one of the prettiest flamethrowers of them all.

I must confess that I think Earthworm Jim 1 is the greatest 2D platformer of all time.
