Underplayed? He was likely the most memorable character in the movie. By far the strongest performance. Personally, I thought Sly would get it, he was also very good, with much longer screen time and he put very even performance throughout the movie. Totally unexpected.

Most of the criticism of Water World was due to the fact that it cost 175M to make and made much less in US domestic box office. So if we are not "supposed to know how it was made" then we shouldnt have known how much it costs, right? Otherwise, I found both Water World and Postman enjoyable movies, more so than many…

Gotta say this was pretty smart from him to get some media coverage of that kickstarter… seems to be working so far. Never liked him from SA days and his boxing matches but I am surprised that his last 2 movies scored so well with audiences (Rampage and AWS).

Kevin James is running under Sandler label… thats no coincidence. Unfortunately Blart 2 made pretty decent money, so they aint stopping.
