Bit of a hot take/ spin zone here but I feel like Curry could have broken this record last year but he never played full minutes because they were blowing everybody out. Obviously 13/17 is amazing but the fact they needed it has to be a bit alarming.

Check out that article. Says that Kershaw had the 2nd best start in ML history with a 102 pitch score (no idea what that is). The year listed is 2004 but I’m guessing he didn’t do that when he was like 16 right?
