I could call opening my front door with a key a ‘puzzle’, but that doesn’t make it fun. There are plenty of examples where clever design shines through in a very accessible way without feeling as much like a copout all the way through.

Very pretty, just nothing super mechanically engaging or challenging.

I thought the concept was interesting at first, but it all ended up feeling like you were given a hammer, a ladder, and and a spoon to continuously address a parade of nails, walls, and soups. Very little critical thought involved and more just arbitrary use of character powers.

I never understood the love for Trine when it came out; such a bland little platformer.

Post Malone gives everyone the heebie-jeebies.

Nah, Cosplay is purely professional now. Why bother with any of the mediocre basement shit when you can just look at the movie-quality shit instead?

lol “If you want to contribute, go do some free labor that you’ll barely be credited for, let alone paid for, when it’s used as a ‘tip’ by the editorial staff (who have no control over editorial, btw).”

“Nothing about the integrity of the game depends on the exact ratio between damage and resilience, or rapidity of response and of execution.”

Bethesda hasn’t churned out a decent product, let alone told a decent story within or about that product, since Fallout 3. It’ll never get good because they don’t have the talent to make it good, or if they do they have processes well established to squash it before it can leak into their games.

Yeah, and I call that a wildly unfair thing to say to a developer in a scenario like this. It is not an inherently asshole move to make things for one person and not another when it occurs not because of purposefully exclusionary design, but simply via design with incidental exclusion. I’ve yet to hear a single

Titles? In my cosplay compilation?!

You’re right, shit like this goes down in a vacuum. People who blow themselves up do it for no reason, and everyone is blameless save for them. Media has no impact on the world, and no one should ever feel bad about doing shitty things or putting shitty things out into the world when shittier things finally happen as

“wheeee wahhh America makes me grind my teeth! Medical appliances cost money! Putty is goopy! I’m a giant fucking manchild and can’t keep this thing I supposedly care about and spent a bunch of money on clean, or even in my possession, wheeee wahhhhhh”

Seeing as everything about this case is as fucking uncommon as it comes it seems to simply be progressing in the way you’d expect something like to progress.

Sounds like you interacted with someone who has a mental health issue.

It is not being an asshole to design something for someone, but not everyone. Not everything has to be for everyone. This isn’t kids cruelly excluding other kids, this is a studio making a game the way they want to make it and not the way they don’t. Should all games include an aural-accentuated mode for the blind?

REEEEEE JOHN CHO IS KOREAN NOT JAPANESE / MARTIAN REEEEEEE

It’s crazy to me that Bethesda can’t even make the game look good. They gotta stop this shit and stick to publishing.

Wow, 1,200 people? That’s, like, more than 1,000 people!

Not sure how this is a break from any of Sci-Fi’s tired tropes, save that it’s all POC. Sounds pretty standard.
