Why is the impetus on the developer to cater to a broader audience than their chosen one? The “this would be a nice feature” argument you keep pushing seems more and more an antithesis to rabid fanboys complaining about their hXc experience than an actual ask of the developer, because difficulty / gameplay is a design

... yes?

The fuck are you talking about?

Corporate mismanagement? Fascinating.

Great, then walk away if you have no hope. Some things are insurmountable; that's why God invented YouTube.

Yes, some art is limited on purpose by the artist. It’s a design choice, not a universal negative. The people who made this game are communicating something with the difficulty just as much as the art direction, sound, etc., and removing that is not something to be forced upon them if they don’t want to do it.

I addressed that in another post, as I believe those things are distinct; the art communicated in a book is primarily the ideas within that book. You lose very little changing the medium or method of consumption. For these games, however, a significant portion of the artistic vision is the difficulty itself. Removing

If video games are art, how can you demand that the artist change their vision to fit the consumer? It makes no sense. If something is intended to be experienced one way and one way alone, bummer.

Everything for everyone isn’t something that should be demanded from designers. I agree that it’s no skin off any player’s back if there’s an easy mode lurking in the shadows of their hXc experience, but it’s not fair to a developer, nay an artist, to force a perspective on their work that they never intended nor

It’s easier to sit on The Root and write smugly about wypipo than it is to go outside and do anything about, well, anything. Everyone needs another America, amirite? article way worse than they need boots on the ground fixing anything, so thank God he’s here.

A very similar thing played out at my weekly last week; some guy SD’d as Falcon, immediately unplugged his controller, and stormed away. This was the same guy that not 30 minutes earlier had been shrieking about wobbling memes and laughing at casuals he beat.

I’m shocked at how good it is. My first thoughts when I saw the transition and initial screenshots were ones of disgust, but damn if they didn’t nail it.

This is actually great for Lyft, as it means they got marginally more per share than they really should have. As far as confidence goes, who cares? Analysts are garbage. Going public is a cash infusion, and they got infused.

So powerful.

Hey James Corden, fuck off.

Yeah, no.

Well, put simply you made all this shit up. Literally everything.

Yeah, that’s gonna be a no from me dawg.

*Creates narrative that doesn’t jibe with reality*

Gotta love the ‘System is busted, glad to see a black gay guy getting a win in it’ shit. It’s wealth and connection that’s getting a win, no one else; regardless of Jussie’s characteristics, he’s a above all just a petulant wealthy piece of shit getting a free ride on the same silver spoons the Trumps of the world fly
