There is an article about how TMZ might very well be a place where women get sexually harassed right below this one.

I didn't imply that intent removes responsibility. I said you can't take the effects and claim they were the intent. Being held responsible doesn't change intent one way or the other.

Your quote was- "Remember, you have the absolute right to free speech. Unless you're disagreeing with the right wing. Then you're just a bully and a troublemaker."

I don't think it's just the genders. A different woman who hasn't always been promoted by the New York fashion and media world wouldn't have gotten a free pass. But Solange has the bohemian vibe and politics they love, so she gets a pass.

That last paragraph unmasked your bias. Sure, if you consider bad things done by a liberals as individual acts and bad things done by conservatives as being part of their overall message, then you're going to find tons of problems with the right wing and very few with the left. But you're the one distorting.

I haven't seen the documentary, but one thing that always annoys me is the the idea of trying to find a single dietary culprit to fix a cultural dietary problem. Ex:

I think the tweeting makes it clear. Truthfully, nobody has much experience in seeing two people they aren't attracted to kiss. Fat people making out, old people making out, etc...people tend to have negative visceral reactions until they get used to seeing something. But it's up to the person who was "disgusted" to

Kat didn't. A commenter did. Kat didn't criticize him at all.

I don't think it's something we can all get behind. There are two main groups of pearl clutchers right now- conservatives and liberals. They want to censor what offends them but keep anything that has what they consider to be an appropriate message. If this was a painting that offended liberals, the two groups would

So did Anthony Hopkins play a serial killer too well not to be one?

Completely agree. For better or worse, bell hooks isn't an academic. She purposefully writes without footnotes or sources in an effort to distance herself from academics.

One correction, Burt: Brown wrote that the feminist lobby joined the hyena pack, not that they were one. The mistake is on The Wrap's part, not yours. From Brown's article:

I don't know of any group that do anything different when lumped together. Nobody likes generalizations about their group, just everyone else's.

The TV and comedy industries definitely aren't where they need to be, so I don't doubt it. But both her and Cummings put in close to a decade onstage before crossing over. Even if they were helped, they did pay their dues.

It's very unlikely. They've been having these protests all over the state for about a year. This is the closest there has been to an incident.

I stand corrected.

Magic in the return year might have been the worst defensive player I've ever seen.

Yeah, I wish guys could get pregnant too! It sounds easy-peasy. I'd eat ice cream and pickles for nine months. Then I'd have the baby on the 4th fairway of a round of golf, so I could just bundle it in the back of the cart and finish the round. That way I can also have a few beers after 9 months of no alcohol.

Very true. Women do much, much, better with approaching guys than the reverse. Of course, if you approach 5 people in a month, 1 is going to be rude, but I don't think the old limitations on women being aggressive apply.

They can be. I get your point. It's mostly based on looks. But a woman who is confident does the same thing to people that male confidence does. That's why it's such a shame that girls aren't taught to get out there and experience things and grow confidence.
